A plain-language draft that separates what the public game does now from account services still being designed.
Not in Effect
Gate 3 review draft. This page must be completed against the selected hosting architecture, vendor agreements and legal review before account storage is activated.
1. What the current public game stores
The current build saves gameplay progress, player-selected reasons and excuses, and settings in the browser storage on the device being used. That local information helps the game remember progress and personalize dialogue. Clearing browser storage can remove it.
No Crave Inc. cloud account is connected in this build. Standard infrastructure records, such as security and access logs created by the website host, must be documented here once the production configuration is confirmed.
2. Account services under design
Before account storage is enabled, this notice will identify the information collected, why it is needed, where it is stored, who can access it, how long it is kept, the service providers involved, and how a player can request access, correction, export or deletion.
Craving Games Ltd. will collect only the information needed to operate the player-facing product and will not describe a system as PHIPA- or PIPEDA-compliant until the complete architecture and operating practices have been reviewed.
3. Research is a separate context
Using the public game does not enrol a player in a study. A research build would require a separate invitation and consent process approved by the responsible research institution. Its information notice would identify the research team, approved data, retention rules, withdrawal process and study contacts.
